Session 1 – South Asian Truck Art
This colorful workshop introduced girls to the vibrant world of truck art, a traditional art form filled with bold patterns, floral designs, and striking colors. Guided by talented artists, the girls learned to paint with confidence and bring their unique ideas to life. Through this hands-on experience, they not only explored their creativity but also connected with cultural heritage and expressed themselves in new, inspiring ways.
The workshop was more than painting—it was about self-expression, empowerment, and having fun!
Session 2 – History of the Paisley Pattern
We hosted a paisley-inspired workshop where participants explored the rich history of the iconic paisley pattern. They learned about its cultural significance and evolution before putting their creativity to work, embroidering their own unique paisley designs onto fabric bags.
Session 3 – Architecture with Mud
We explored the architecture of mud houses in the Indian subcontinent, discussing their rich history and unique design elements. Participants then applied their knowledge by drawing and using clay to design their own mud house.
